How to Cleanse the Bowel/Colon

There are many ways and many recipes for cleansing your colon. Boxed cleanses can be purchased from a store but I advise against it. I do not recommend using laxatives or bentonite clay either. There is no cleanse safer and more nutritious for the body than using whole raw foods.

The colon should be cleansed and free from parasites before cleansing the kidneys.

This colon cleansing should be done during a 3 day fast of all other foods. Here is a list of the raw ORGANIC foods you may consume:

  • Spinach
  • Asparagus
  • Brussels Sprouts
  • Cabbage
  • Celery
  • Collard Greens
  • Leeks
  • Peas
  • Swiss Chard
  • Mustard Greens
  • Dark Green Lettuces (not head lettuce or romaine)
  • All Kale
  • Parsley
  • Cilantro
  • Beets and Beet Greens
  • carrots
  • Avocado
  • Apples

For 3 days eat a big plate of the above listed greens 2X per day. Use at least 5 varieties. Top it with as many of the raw vegetables listed as you are able. Do this for lunch and dinner. If you want a dressing squeeze lemon juice over it and pure organic olive oil. I only use and recommend Bragg’s Olive Oil. It is the purest you can buy made by a company with great long term integrity.  Tip: Do not think that because your olive oil is imported that it is pure.

Many sites say you can juice or blend these ingredients into smoothies. I do not. I eat as much of the thick dark roughage as I can. It literally will sweep your colon clean. If you are parasite cleansing at the same time, it will help to eliminate them. I learned to do this years ago from an article written by two research scientists who had studied many types of cleanses by doing them themselves. In the end they found that there was no better way than to eat a mixture of whole raw organic dark green leaves and vegetables.

For Breakfast each of the 3 days you can do an Aloe Vera Cleanse or if you have cleansed before and /or think you can handle it, you can do what is called the Master Cleanse. If you choose the Master Cleanse you may want to stay close to home for the 3 days.

Aloe Vera Cleanse:

  • 1 cup organic aloe vera juice
  • 1/2 cup organic rolled oats
  • 1 cup organic spinach
  • 2 leaves organic kale
  • 5 leaves organic swiss chard
  • 1/2 medium organic cucumber
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • You may add a teaspoon of pure raw honey if you need to.

Blend ingredients in a blender or your nutri bullet and drink them down.

The Master Cleanse:

  • 1 organic lemon
  • 2 Tablespoons pure organic maple syrup
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 10 ounces purified water

Stir these ingredients vigorously together. Once the stirring has settled, drink the entire glass full all at once.

All day long throughout these 3 days, drink several glasses of purified water between meals.

And, as always, if you are having any difficulty with digestion or elimination prior to the cleanse, Consult Your Physician before doing a cleanse.

Please, during these 3 days, evaluate the foods that you commonly eat. If you normally eat processed foods (this includes fast food), pastas, foods made with flours, sugary foods, pop or other sugared drinks including those with artificial sweeteners or salty foods, think again before resuming this kind of diet. 

People who cleanse normally feel awesome and energetic afterwards. What you consume will determine if or how fast you will return to feeling sluggish, tired and mentally foggy not to mention returning to any of the wide array of other symptoms that cleansing will cure.
